Gathered Curtains

Gathered curtains are curtains being hung by means of loops attached to a gathering curtain tape sewn onto the uppermost portion of the curtain. The gathering tape is sewn onto the rear of the fabric and it can be utilized to gather and contract the fabric to the required level with a gathering ratio of 1.5 and above.

The gathering tape creates the appearance of gatherings / unordered pleats and folds as well as a lighter look than that obtained by pleated curtains.

Gathering tapes can be sewn onto any type of fabric and the gathering ratio is determined according to the fabric’s type and the opulence level required.
